With Westminster’s drive towards energy-efficient products and a consumer demand for sophisticated lighting technology, OSRAM invited the cream of the wholesaler crop to join them for an exciting presentation about sustainability and their new product developments.
Presenting on a rightfully beautifully lit stage to a full house, OSRAM’s product specialists took some time to share with attendees the newest advancements in OSRAM’s lighting solutions portfolio. The main focus of the event, however, was the importance of energy-efficient products and the enforcement from Westminster.
“Only recently, the humble light bulb is beginning to take centre stage,” said David Schofield, OSRAM Managing Director. He then went on to discuss how the British government is trying to phase out older energy guzzling lamps.
“The fact is that we as manufacturers have a huge task on our hands,” said David. “I call it the triple whammy – It’s good for the planet, good for the customers, and it’s good for businesses.”
