Featuring a brief overview of the regulation’s key points, the brochure also includes a Part M contrast guide, a four point explanation on how to comply using Legrand’s products and a rundown of the company’s Part M compliant products.
Legrand’s regulations and standards manager, Steve Willmore commented: “It does seem like Part M has been around for a considerable length of time, but as it’s only applicable to applications for Building Regulation submitted after May 1st, 2004 it means that only recently has it begun to have a major impact on the market.”
“As a result we’ve faced a barrage of questions about Part M and what it means in terms of our products and solutions. While everyone here is more than happy to answer any questions posed, we did feel it would save contractors and installers a great deal of time and worry if they had a handy reference guide, which would provide them with everything they need to know on Part M.”
In fact, the brochure has proved so popular that Legrand has produced extra copies to deal with demand.
