Question: Please could you confirm whether or not I have to run a 10mm earth to the Main Earth Terminal (MET) from an immersion cylinder?

Answer: Regulation 413-02-02 requires that main equipotential bonding conductors have to be connected to extraneous conductive parts of the installation, which include : water services pipes, gas pipes, central heating systems and exposed metallic structural parts of the building.
