A new online resource to help schoolchildren understand the challenge of climate change has been unveiled in Wales.
Launched by minister for the environment, sustainability and housing Jane Davidson at a school in Pembrokeshire today, the website is designed to encourage pupils to make links between local problems and global issues, according to the government.
The Climate Change Wales site will use a number of interactive features to provoke discussion about global warming and its consequences, including a flood map which demonstrates the potentially deadly impact of climate change on the nation's sea levels.
Ms Davidson said: "Climate change is one of the biggest threats facing the people of Wales and the world in which we all live today.
"I am delighted to see this resource being developed for children and young people across Wales."
Earlier this month, leader of the Presbyterian Church of Wales Reverend John Owen urged people to help the environment by recycling unwanted Christmas items.
