The IET's Geoff Cronshaw uncovers the mysteries behind making BS7671:2008 - the 17th Edition - in this article originally published in the IET magazine, 'Wiring Matters':

This article is intended to explain briefly the relationship between the British Standard (BS 7671) and the European and International Standards for electrical installations. The article also gives a brief overview of CENELEC and IEC together with information on the work of our National Committee.
