A new brochure detailing the extended range of surge arresters from Merlin Gerin, a brand of Schneider Electric is now available to download from the Schneider Electric website.
More and more electrical equipment is today sensitive to over-voltages caused by lightning strikes and it must be protected. In addition to this, British Standards for the protection of a structure from a lightning strike and lightning surge protection devices are changing in 2008.
In response to this, Merlin Gerin, is devoting its efforts to lightning protection and has developed a comprehensive range of surge protection equipment.
The range includes master, draw out and fixed surge arresters for low voltage networks and telecommunications and computer networks.
