Martin Whitby has been elected President of the Electrical Distributors Association.

He is Marketing and Purchasing DIrector of Rexel Senate and has worked for the company for almost 3 years. He has been in the industry for almost 20 years, starting at BDC in 1988 before joining WF as Product Manager for Lighting in 1993. Following WF's acquisition by Hagemeyer he became Head of CRM based in Birmingham, and prior to joining Rexel he was WF's Marketing Manager.
Martin has been a member of the EDA's Board of Management for 2 years with responsibility for Learning and Development, and is proud to accept the role of President. Following his appointment Martin said, "under the guidance of Russ Cama the EDA's membership (both wholesalers and affiliated suppliers) grew significantly and I hope to continue his fantastic achievement as well as enhance the services and support we provide our members".
