From designing electrical control panels to breeding award winning pooches for Crufts, meet October’s Loyal User of the Month- William Fulton.
This skilled Scotsman was born in the “little village” of Inverkip, and eventually made his way to the southwest city of Annan. After studying at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, William worked as Design Engineer for boiler maker, Cochran. Two years later he found employment with Keyton in Carlisle and worked for them for over fifteen years. Now working as an Electrical Design Engineer for Amber Programmable Design, William designs electrical control panels and offers full electrical packages for PLC and PC software.
William found Voltimum through Edmundson Electrical, as he uses their electrical wholesaler services quite a bit.
“Voltimum is quite a handy website,” said William, “The newsletters bring up topics that are current in the industry and the website keeps me up to date with the ever-changing regulations.”
Along with being an accomplished design engineer and a loving husband, William is a Hungarian Puli showdog owner.
“You can blame my wife for that,” joked William about his canine credentials.
Thirteen years ago William and his wife ventured to Cornwall on holiday where they came across a Puli at their hotel. They fell in love with the breed and bought one with the intention of raising it purely as a pet. The breeders of this Puli convinced the Fultons to enter their prized pooch, Dante, in a showdog competition. They agreed…and Dante won first of class.
This was just the beginning for Dante, who went on to win Crufts Best of Breed…twice! And even at age twelve, Dante won third spot in the Pedigree Veteren Stakes Final.
“He really loved showing,” said William proudly.
This was Dante’s last show, as he recently passed away. The Fultons were deeply saddened by their loss, but have five other wonderful Pulis in their family who just might follow in Dante’s paw prints.
Congratulations William on being October’s Loyal User and winning a personal DAB radio and MP3 player!
