Shower specialist Redring has launched a unique thermostatic shower and suction pump package for all level access shower installations, where gravity drainage is not possible. Complete showering and drainage solution in one package.

Designed and manufactured at Redring’s Peterborough factory, the Selectronic Level Access Pump (LAP) is the only shower to fully meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. However, it also affords both householders and care sector professionals complete flexibility in where to site the shower unit within any home or building.
The Selectronic thermostatic shower and level access pump is supplied as a complete system, in one box, using just one part number for both the shower and the pump. The pump contains a diaphragm – not a conventional impeller – to ensure there are no blockages or reduction in performance.
The Redring Selectronic LAP electric shower controls the pump directly; making life simpler for installers by removing the need to fit a flow switch or any associated wiring.
Available in two kilowatt ratings 8.5kw and 9.5kw the complete package is compatible with a shower drain kit, tray and wet floor models, to suit the most stylish wet-room or highly equipped care application.
Everything needed comes in the box said Redring: “A multi mode rub clean handset, a 1 meter riser rail with fully adjustable handset holder and a 2 meter easy clean shower hose and grab rail, providing a complete level access showering solution.”

The Selectronic includes an In-temperature lock mode, capped at 40ºC and total push button operation, with tactile coding and audible feedback. There is also an additional time delay adjustment for start-up and over-run. The whole package, in one box, with one part number, comes with a 3 year parts and labour guarantee.
