With the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2008) due to be published in the New Year NAPIT is hosting FREE seminars in locations across the country to help electricians fully understand the changes.
Due to be published in January 2008 the 17th Edition will give electricians a 6-month transitional period to update their skills in compliance with new legislation. Therefore, as of 1st July 2008 all commercial, domestic and industrial wiring installations must be designed, constructed, inspected, tested and certificated to meet the requirements of BS 7671:2008.
NAPIT seminars, in conjunction with Megger will be held across 17 locations throughout October, November and December, with more to be announced for 2008. During which, both NAPIT members and non-members will be given the opportunity to discuss the changes and learn how the 17th Edition will affect them.
Attendees will be able to receive a 17th Edition ‘Health-Check’, get guidance on certification and learn how NAPIT can help electricians achieve the qualifications they need.
Megger will also be in attendance to offer advice and demonstrate the latest 17th Edition form filling instruments with available.
Substantial discounts to join NAPIT and book the 17th Edition training course will be available on the night.
