Attached, is the IET's 17th Edition Wiring Regulations as a Draft for Public Comment (DPC). This was issued late in 2006 and the opportunity for any more comment from electrical contractors is and installers is now well passsed. This DPC, as a .PDF attachment, is aimed at showing the kind of changes that are likely to be required:

The IET's 17th Edition Wiring Regulations is available here as the original Draft for Public Comment (DPC), issued in 2006. The deadline for public comment has long passed, but this DPC gives an indication of the likely changes. This is NOT the final document, due in 2008.
