Main Purpose of the Job:
- To propose development ideas and to increase Legrand’s competitiveness by acting on the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for which the post holder is responsible, whilst working within the guidelines defined in the Legrand Long Range Plan and Budget.
- Setting up all the necessary means to achieve objectives in co-ordination with the Residential Market Segment Manager.

Key Activities: • Launch new products incl’ the preparation of the functional design brief. • Monitor the product portfolio (life cycle). • Collect, sort & analyse market information. • Monitor the competition & set up price comparisons of core products in the SBU • Prepare & validate catalogues & technical data sheets • Provide support & backup to the Sales Technical Support team • Be the main interface for the SBU products within the company • Responsible for product portfolio forecast accuracy • Maintain sharp & effective market perception through regular customer contact
Personal Competencies: • Successful experience of Sales and/or Marketing management • Customer & results orientated • An international outlook. The ability to speak French and/or Italian would be a distinct advantage • Confident & decisive • A good team player • Good knowledge of Marketing, Sales & Logistics processes • Confident user of MS Office packages
Conditions: • Reporting to the UK Marketing Director. • Based at Legrand Electric Limited UK Head Office, Birmingham. • Salary; up to £32k, depending on skills/experience, plus Bonus potential.
