Eaton has appointed Richard Boulter Vice President and General Manager of Eaton's Electrical Group European Operations:

Richard Boulter replaces Clayton Tychkowsky who is returning to the USA as Vice President and General Manager of Eaton's Industrial Controls Division in Milwaukee. Boulter (40) is well used to the UK electrical industry. Originating from the East Midlands, he started his career with Brush Electrical Machines in Loughborough. He moved to Merlin Gerin in 1988 and then to Siemens in 1992, working in the UK, Germany and China in the electrical distribution business. He then joined Eaton in March 2007, working in Cherrington, Pittsburgh on global marketing initiatives, and taking up his new appointment in Reddings Lane, Birmingham on August 1. Eaton's Electrical Group in Europe has seen year on year growth in sales and profitability over the last two years and Mr Boulter will be seeking to build on this. "Making the customer the focus of everything we do is a core value of Eaton everywhere and the timely delivery of competitive and innovative products, solutions and services remains the focus of the whole Group" he says. Richard Boulter said: "I am thrilled to be returning to Europe. I have been very impressed with the activities in place in all the Eaton facilities and the commitment and professionalism of everybody I have been able to meet. I would also like to thank our valued customers who place their trust in us and I give them my commitment that we at Eaton are here to deliver on our promises."
