Woodford Group, the UK’s largest brownfield land acquisition, remediation, residential development, waste management and recycling company, commissioned the new offices to bring all eight of their divisions together under one roof.  Built by at Eric Wright Construction, the three-storey, high-spec office building needs to provide for the company’s current IT requirements, and anticipate its future needs.

Future flexibility was a key element in the client’s brief to the design and build electrical contractor, Hirst & Danson.  Explained Chris Birrell, design team manager at Hirst & Danson: “The client has invested in an extensive electrical fit out to ensure the building remains fit for purpose as the company continues to develop.  The compact design of Mita’s Cat6 Compatible Floor Boxes made them an ideal choice.”

MITA’s Cat 6 Compatible Floor Boxes address the increasing need for greater bandwidth and data throughput. Thanks to the increased depth, the product allows a 50mm minimum bend radius to be maintained.
