East Lothian Housing Association (ELHA) has experienced unprecedented interest in its new development of 54 eco-homes at Windygoul, Tranent:

East Lothian Housing Association (ELHA) reports that its new development of 54 eco-homes in Windygoul, Tranent, Scotland has interested many as people begin to appreciate the extent of Climate Change damage that is occurring.

The new ELHA homes - a mix of one, two, three, four and six bedroom houses and flats - have attracted a total 1,662 applications through the Association's homehunt East Lothian service.

Rent levels for the new homes, which have their heating and hot water supplied by ground source heat pumps, a measure that reduces both carbon emissions and fuel bills, vary from £56.00 to £78.00 / week.
