The Institution of Lighting Engineers Annual Conference & Exhibition 2007, which takes place in Dublin from September 26-28, is the conference for everyone interested in lighting. The theme is Lighting the future and top class speakers will look at the many challenges the future will bring, with a range of solutions…and some questions to inspire debate.

Attendees will be able to visit the exhibition, packed with companies keen to demonstrate new products, services and ideas. The Institution’s Annual Conference is the must-attend lighting event of the year.

Who should attend:

The ILE’s Annual Conference and Exhibition is a vital event for everyone concerned with non-domestic lighting including lighting engineers, contractors, manufacturers, designers, specifiers, architects, researchers, budget controllers, and those involved in highway and civil engineering. We welcome lighting professionals and their colleagues in associated fields, from the UK, throughout Ireland, and further afield. Attention is paid to ensure that the programme is relevant to professionals at all levels, from those starting out in junior roles right through to senior executives for whom lighting may be just one of their areas of responsibility.

The main conference venue is the Crowne Plaza Hotel . This is where delegates who book early will be placed, and those booking later will be accomodated in the Express by Holiday Inn. If you book a residential place we will handle your booking for you so you do not need to contact the hotel directly.

The welcome reception being held on Wednesday evening will take place at Dublin City Hall and the President’s dinner on Thursday evening will be held at the Round Room adjacent to the Mansion House in Dublin city centre. 


The ILE Annual Conference is your chance to meet other lighting professionals, hear great speakers, and update your knowledge.
