The Institution of Street Lighting Engineers is pleased to announce a Street Lighting Term Maintenance Contract Course which will be held on 17 and 18 July 2007, at the ILE, Rugby.
The course is an essential requirement to ensure an understanding of Street Lighting Term Maintenance Contract documents and in particular the ASLEC/CSS/ILE jointly produced Guidance Notes. Attendance on the course will provide evidence to support competency of lighting design staff as detailed in the ILE Lighting Design Staff Competency Matrix, designed to meet the requirements of HD46-05. Numbers are limited so places will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. The first workshop sold out extremely quickly so we recommend prompt booking.
A one day workshop covering the preparation of street lighting term maintenance contracts. The workshop is essential for a full understanding of the new joint ASLEC-CSS-ILE Guidance Notes for the Preparation of Street Lighting Term Maintenance Contracts (a copy of which will be provided to each attendee as part of the workshop). The Guidance Notes are based on the ICE Term Version conditions of contract. The workshop will consist of a series of presentations taking the attendees through the Guidance Notes followed by workshops covering areas of particular concern to lighting engineers, consultants, their staff and their customers.
