On 1st of June 2007, REACH ( Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) legislation came into force. It is possibly the most complex piece of legislation in European history.
REACH requires a thorough and comprehensive review of the health, safety and environmental impact of chemicals in everything on the EU market - from shampoo to pens to computers to cars. Consequently, this regulation affects anyone producing, importing or using products in the EU.
To mark the occasion and to help companies work out if they should worry about REACH, REACHReady has added a new tool to its popular REACH Basics range - available now free online.
