NAPIT will be presenting a seminar as part of B&K Expo 2007. NAPIT's chief executive John Andrews will lead the discussions on May 13 with a talk about the vast range of building regulations, updates and new conditions facing the construction, bathroom and kitchen industries:

Among the topics will be an overview of changes to the building regulations, expansion of self certification schemes and work notification requirements.
Mr Andrews said: "All of these changes have implications for the kitchen and bathroom industry."

NAPIT, a not-for-profit trade association, has more than 4,000 members in the electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation sectors. It runs Competent Persons Schemes and is a TrustMark scheme operator. NAPIT welcomes members from the electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation sectors, and the organisation's Complete Solution allows tradespeople to self-certify work in these four areas.

Member benefits include access to a free technical helpline, free legal support and training discounts. For details visit www.napit.org.uk.
