The tiny trend-setter: OSRAM HALOPIN G9

The trend towards smaller light sources continues with the new OSRAM HALOPIN G9.
HALOPINÒ is the smallest mains voltage lamp made by OSRAM. Similar in size to a low voltage halogen capsule lamp but no need for a transformer! The new 25W and 40W versions are only 43mm long.
In addition a very important feature of the HALOPINÒis that it meets the safety requirements of IEC 60432-2, thanks to its bulb pinch technology and its integral fuse system which ensures it extinguishes safely at the end of its life.
Many cheap imported lamps do not meet this safety standard and can explode at end of life. An exploding lamp could cause serious injury and seriously damage the reputation, so think very carefully before opting for the cheap alternative.
Its brilliant white halogen light, UV FILTER quartz and fully dimmable features make it ideal for the home, small decorative luminaires and in built furniture lighting
