Voltimum shines brightly with Cooper Lighting and Security

Cooper Lighting and Safety Ltd

European mains lighting, emergency lighting, and fire detection leader, Cooper Lighting and Security, is the newest partner to join Voltimum UK.

Cooper lighting and Security is part of Cooper Industries, a Fortune 500 world-wide manufacturer of electrical products, founded in 1833.

“Our industrial and commercial lighting products and central battery and self test emergency systems offer long term economic benefits, together with low maintenance and highly recyclable components,” said Peter Denny, Sales and Marketing Director of Cooper Lighting and Security.

With four brands behind its name, Cooper Lighting and Security has plenty to offer.

Crompton Lighting is one of the oldest lighting companies in the world, founded in 1878 by Colonel Crompton, and joined with Cooper Industries in 1999.  Their product ranges include intelligent luminaires and lighting controls, recessed fluorescent, surface fluorescent, downlights, ambient, industrial and hazardous area, and exterior lighting.

Menvier, a name synonymous with quality emergency lighting solutions, was founded in 1975 and joined Cooper Industries in 1997.  Their product ranges include self-contained emergency luminaires, central system slave luminaires, exit sign luminaires, self-contained emergency lighting conversion kits, central battery systems, static inverters, addressable automatic emergency lighting testing systems, conventional fire panels and ancillaries, and analogue addressable fire panels and ancillaries.

JSB, founded in 1962 and specializing in emergency lighting and fire detection systems, joined Cooper Industries in 1999.  Their high quality and low cost product ranges include self-contained luminaires, exit sign luminaires, self-contained emergency lighting conversion kits, addressable automatic emergency lighting testing systems, conventional fire panels and ancillaries, and analogue addressable fire panels and ancillaires.

Launched in 2007, Axent is the newest brand to join Cooper Lighting and Security.  Using the latest technology, materials, and optical designs, this architectural lighting brand offers creative and innovative lighting solutions.  Their product ranges include wall mounted LEDs, ground recessed LEDs, and display LEDs.

With a diverse and trusted array of lighting and fire detection solutions, a team of specialized sales staff, and a top-of-the-line customer support system, Cooper Lighting and Securities is a welcomed addition to Voltimum.

"We recognise the varied and energetic way that Voltimum promotes companies and their products,” said Peter Denny. “Voltimum brings together the leading electrical manufacturers in Europe, and Cooper Lighting and Security is proud to be member.”
