Sustainable Energy Ireland welcome White Paper on energy

Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) commented today on the Government's Energy White Paper "Delivering a Sustainable Energy Future for Ireland".

Speaking at a conference organised by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) David Taylor, chief executive of SEI, said the White Paper provides Ireland with a sound framework to deliver a sustainable energy future and sets ambitious but achievable targets.

Taylor welcomed the White Paper and observed: "The White Paper is a watershed in Irish energy policy and delivers on all three pillars of energy policy to create the necessary conditions for sustainable energy supply and demand in Ireland."
