Brian Stevens of D&M Electrical in Hamble-le-Rice, near Southampton, was the lucky winner of an £8,000 holiday for four in Australia in Eaton's summer promotion. His purchase of more than £250 worth of Memshield 2 products at the Southampton branch of Walsall/BCE mwas his ticket to success.
When Electrical Engineer, Brian Stevens, ordered more than £250 worth of Memshield 2 distribution boards and accessories from the Southampton branch of Walsall/BCE for a school project in Fareham, he didn’t dream it would lead to an £8,000 holiday in Australia.
Brian was the lucky winner of Eaton’s Summer Promotion. He was also one of 150 people to win a gas barbeque.
“I couldn’t believe it when they told me I had won the barbeque” admits Brian, who rarely takes part in competitions of this sort. “Then they told me I had won the top prize!”
He plans to take his partner Sarah and their five year-old son William to the Queensland, Gold Coast at Easter. They are all very excited at the prospect.
Brian is an Electrical Engineer with D & M Electrical in Hamble-le-Rice on the outskirts of Southampton. The company carries out commercial and industrial installation work and planned maintenance across the south of England. Its customers include local City and County Councils, Health and Water Authorities. Projects include installation and maintenance work in shops, offices and schools. Brian’s responsibilities range from taking orders and pricing contracts, through purchasing to issuing completion certificates.
Eaton’s promotion operated through its network of distributors. Customers who ordered more than £250 worth of standard stock items had the opportunity to win a top-of-the-range gas barbeque. There was then a Grand Draw for the £8,000 Australian holiday.
