Mike Dinley, a self-employed electrical contractor from Whitstable won a great prize - the TK GP31 tool kit courtesy of Kew Technik. This was the prize on day 21 of Voltimum's advent calendar.
Mike, nick-named '240', is an electrical contractor who does mostly domestic installation work in the South East area around Canterbury. Registered with ELECSA for their Part P certification scheme,he has been operating for almost 20 years.
It was is friend, Karl Turner an electrical maintenance contractor, who introduced him to Voltimum in February 2006. Mike asked Karl's advice on a sticky electrical problem and Karl recommended Voltimum as a useful source of information. Mike receives Voltimum's newsletters and, if he doesn't have time to read them, saves them until he has a few minutes to go through them.
Mike has recently joined Whitstable's RNLI lifeboat crew and covers a ten mile area between Isle of Sheppy and Reculver. It's quite a commitment but very worthwhile and rewarding. Mike also enjoys fishing.
