The Energy Convention Groningen 2006 (ECG2006) will be held in November 2006 in Groningen, The Netherlands:

This second edition of Energy Convention Groningen, ECG2006, will take place on 20 - 22 November 2006.
This event aims to achieve the following:
- Create a unique international, interdisciplinary platform (business, science, government) on challenges in the field of future energy supply.
- Cover in depth scientific energy/sustainability research questions.
- Demonstrate good examples of transition on the level of cities, regions and countries.
- Enhance the international visibility of Groningen as hot spot for development of energy related activities.
The Convention will be attended by international experts in the field of energy transition.
