The EDA and its training partner, MOL, have added another new module to the Product Knowledge range:
The EDA's Electrical Heating and Ventilation Module will help learners to increase their product knowledge and gain an understanding of relevant technical terms. Completing the module will give learners the knowledge needed to help customers choose the most suitable product for their needs.
The topic areas covered in the new Electrical Heating and Ventilation module includes:
- Space Heating and Heat Theory
- Heating Elements and Heating Controls
- Storage Heating
- Convection and Fan Heating
- Radiant Heating and Underfloor Heating
- Centrally Controlled Electric Heating Systems
- Water Heating Principles
- Water Boilers and Chilled Water Dispensers
- Storage Water Heaters and Instantaneous Water Heating
- Ventilation and Fans
- Building Regulations.
The EDA's Product Knowledge programme is endorsed by City & Guilds and is run in partnership with MOL. The available modules are Fundamentals of Electricity, Lamps & Lighting, Cables & Wiring Accessories, Switchgear Distribution & Protection, Industrial Products, Luminaires, Electrical Heating & Ventilation, Health & Safety and Customer Care.
