Dear User,
This month, you can learn a little more about the revised Part M of the Building Regulations. Read on:
Part M of the Building Regulations is all about making buildings easily and safely accessible. Compared with the earlier Part M, which set minimum standards for disabled access (door widths, steps / ramps, accessible toilets and so on), the revised Part M aims to make buildings properly accessible to all people, including people with disabilities, but not just them. There was a great deal of interest in the revised Part M upon its publication in 2004, yet it is only just beginning to have a real effect on the electrical wiring accessories sector. This VoltiBULLETIN looks at its effects, particularly on wiring accessories.
