Prysmian cable provides protection in the City

The cable is being used for the fire alarm detection system, throughout the 19 storey building. With its cutting edge voice and data transmission characteristics it was also the choice for the public address/voice alarm system or PAVA, which will help to evacuate the building quickly in the event of a fire.

Essex based contractors EA Electrical have installed the 80,000 metres of FP200 Gold cable required for the new building. EA contracts director Terry Burkin says: “Prysmian’s FP200 Gold is tried and trusted by our company, which makes it a product I can install with confidence. Now complete, Moorhouse offers 305,000 sq ft of prime office space with ultra modern facilities and a retail facility occupying the lower floors.
