JS Humidifiers plc, one of the UK’s largest developers and manufacturers of humidifiers for industrial and commercial applications, has standardised on enclosures from Sarel, a division of Schneider Electric, to provide effective and durable protection for the systems where IP55 protection is required
The choice of many of the leading organisations in the automotive, pharmaceutical and petrochemical sectors, humidification systems from JS Humidifiers provide accurate and dependable humidity control for processes such as paint spraying and powder handling, which are sensitive to environmental conditions.
In many applications, the humidifiers are necessarily sited in exposed locations – for example, on the roof of a building adjacent to an air-handling unit. In these applications, JS Humidifiers protects its equipment by installing it in Sarel sheet steel enclosures.
JS Humidifiers regularly uses Sarel sheet-steel enclosures from three of its ranges. Spacial 3D wall-mounted boxes are well suited for small humidifiers while, for larger systems, free-standing enclosures from the 18500 monobloc and Spacial 6000 modular ranges have proved to offer ideal solutions.
In addition to the enclosures themselves, JS Humidifiers makes good use of Sarel enclosure accessories, including bulkhead lights, door switches and fans to provide forced ventilation. The company’s designers also use Sarel’s free Clima software package, which provides them with a fast and convenient way of determining the temperature rise within an enclosure and, where necessary, guides them in the selection of the most appropriate temperature-control products.
