The new Fluke 902 Clamp Meter measures DC current up to 200microA, DC and AC voltage to 600V, and AC current to 600A – with a Category III 600V safety rating. True-rms readings and a Min/Max button ensure accurate and actionable readings. Capacitance measurement is up to 1000microF. The plug-in, type-K thermocouple measures temperatures from –40ºC to +400ºC. The 902 also measures resistance and provides continuity testing.
The 902 offers Fluke reliability and measurements that remain in spec. for everyday use by technicians who are servicing or installing systems in industrial, commercial, institutional and residential buildings. It can be used, for example, for checking start and run motor capacitors, flame rod testing, checking flue gas temperatures, supply-side and load-side current and voltage measurement, checking current and voltage phase balance and troubleshooting electrical faults on compressor motors.
The Fluke 902 has a 3 year warranty, and comes complete with test leads, a plug-in thermocouple probe and a soft carry case. For more information about other Fluke HVAC products, and the whole Fluke range of test and measurement instruments and where they can be purchased, visit the Fluke UK web site at www.fluke.co.uk.
