Prysmian Cables and Systems has a new look for its famous FP brand of fire performance cables, following its change of ownership and name from Pirelli Cables:

The FP range of fire performance cables has been the market leader for over 30 years and continues to be the number one brand name for fire performance in the UK. The range now has a new look to incorporate the new name and make them easy to identify. Commenting on the new look, Prysmian's marketing manger Julie Croasdale commented: "The new look branding for the FP range will incorporate the distinctive magenta, green and grey colours, which are synonymous with Prysmian. In addition each cable in the FP range from FP100, which is used for electrical safety circuits, to FP600, our armoured fire resistant power cable, will have its own brand icon. Our aim is to make our products easy to recognise so that wholesalers, contractors and specifiers can clearly identify the products they need." Updated technical datasheets for all our FP cables will soon be available on the company's website at www.prysmian.co.uk. Prysmian is a supporting member of Voltimum.
