Education and Training Courses for compliance with RRO Fire Safety Order
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order is due to be introduced later this year and, with this in mind, ECA Education and Training has developed a five-day course in conjunction with the FPA (Fire Protection Association), aimed at all those working in the fire protection or alarm system industry. The course explains the methodologies of fire risk assessment techniques and their application and provides guidance on the practical aspects of carrying out a fire risk assessment.

Location: Moreton in Marsh, Gloucester
Designed for
Electrical contractors, design engineers, installers, commissioning and maintenance engineers who are involved with fire protection and alarm systems, and wish to further their knowledge, skills and competency to include fire risk assessment.
Objectives
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to demonstrate competency in:
- Assessing risks associated with fire
- Advising on self-determined risk assessment
- Advising on fire safety measures
An application for this course to become an Approved Fire Risk Assessment Training Course for the purpose of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Fire Risk Assessors and Auditors Register has been made and is currently under review by the IFE.
Please note - this course will not automatically qualify the successful delegate for listing on the IFE's register.
Applicants to the Register will need to be able to provide evidence of suitable and sufficient experience in fire risk assessment before making their application.
