An important seminar is to take place on 19th May 2006 in London which addresses the management of risk when tendering for, and undertaking, installations of telecommunications infrastructures:
The seminar is entitled Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. Over the past few years, The Cabling Partnership has become involved in an increasing number of legal disputes between telecommunications infrastructure installers and their clients. In most cases these disputes are ultimately caused by a lack of clarity in the specification of the task in hand. Installers are increasingly under price pressure and cannot afford to be diverted from their primary activities by costly litigation and re-work. This seminar addresses these issues head-on and shows how to minimise the risk of financial problems caused by client complaints.
The organiser has also taken two additional significant steps forward to address these business critical issues by including on-line business tool templates within the seminar materials (go to www.it-cabling.com/eTools/iquastor-01.htm for more details) and offering a comprehensive service pack system to address updates and extensions to those tools.
The attached .PDF file brochure gcc005.pdf (download it at 49.4KB file size) provides details of the seminar and an application form. For those interested in BICSI credits, they are applicable as shown on the first page of the brochure. Please make your booking as soon as possible as space may be limited.
