The compact Fluke FoodPro Plus infrared thermometer can check both internal and external temperatures. It offers two measurement options designed for safety, accuracy and convenience.
Foodservice professionals can use the non-contact measurement mode to quickly scan hot or cold foods and view surface temperature readings instantly between -35°C and +275ºC on a large backlit LCD screen, or they can extend and insert the contact probe to get a high-accuracy internal temperature measurement between -40°C and +200ºC.
The compact Fluke FoodPro is a non-contact only version for temperature measurements between -30°C and +200°C. It features a 'Go/No-Go' temperature zone indicator. Both the FoodPro and FoodPro Plus provide clear illumination for accurate targeting during non-contact measurement, and they have IP54 sealing to ensure protection of the instrument when hand washed to avoid cross-contamination.
Reveal HACCP 'Danger Zones':
'Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point' (HACCP) monitoring is a vital function for many organisations as part of an effort to reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses. Both the FoodPro Plus and the FoodPro thermometers incorporate temperature safety limits from HACCP. They instantly reveal HACCP 'Danger Zones' which range between +4°C and +60°C by applying temperature rules that trigger a red (unsafe) or green (safe) light. The FoodPro Plus also features a countdown timer to monitor cooking, cooling and HACCP exposure times.
The Fluke Foodpro Plus and FoodPro are available from Fluke authorised distributors. For more information visit the Fluke Web site at www.fluke.co.uk
