The full colour publication provides technical details on ABB's range of low voltage AC drives from 0.18 to 2,800 kW as well as motors from 0.06 to 710 kW. It also presents the company's range of DC and medium voltage AC drives. Ordering data, dimensions, options and electrical details are included. Prices for 2006 are listed for the majority of products.

New for this year is that heat dissipation, cooling requirements and fuse sizes are listed for all drives up to 400 kW. ABB's recently launched range of general machinery drives, ranging from 0.37 to 7.5 kW, is also featured.

The catalogue additionally details the software available for drive users. Packages cover integration and programming tools, start-up and maintenance tools, as well as engineering tools.

A faxback form is included, enabling readers to request further information on motors and drives, including fact files and technical guides on subjects such as energy efficiency, harmonics and bearing currents.

The Drives & Motors Catalogue 2006 is free and can be requested from ABB's freephone Brochureline on 0800 783 7491 or ordered on the website, www.abb.co.uk/energy.
