Manufactured with the same components as used in all of its fluorescent and compact fluorescent ranges, the PL-Q Pro lamp offers a high standard of performance reliability with the benefit of incorporating the latest Philips lamp design technologies.

The new PL-Q Pro lamp has an average lifetime of 12k hours. This low energy lamp addition has been developed for use in 2D luminaires for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its slim profile makes it particularly suitable for wall or ceiling luminaries to provide unobtrusive lighting.

Philips PL-Q Pro lamps will be available from summer 2003 onwards in 16w and 28w in colours 827 and 835. Further range extensions to include other wattages, colours and 4 pin versions will follow from autumn 2003 onwards. Two distinctly different types of packaging have been developed for the Trade channel and for the OEM channel to reflect the different needs in the supply chain. PL-Q Pro lamps comply with all IEC specifications on product, safety and electrical requirements and are suitable for all gear currently used for 2D lamps.
