A new certification service from BASEC (British Approvals Service for Cables) has been devised to enable manufacturers of flexible cables, control wires and cord sets to demonstrate product compliance with EU Directive 2002/95/EC ‘Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)’.
