ITW Spit has redesigned its Threaded Rod Hanger (TRH) Clip to make it more versatile then ever. Never before have so many features and fixing options been packed into a simple TRH clip, it can be fixed with the Spit Pulsa 700E cordless gas nailer or by using the Tapcon range of self-tapping masonry anchors.
When used in conjunction with the Pulsa 700E cordless gas nailer, the new Spit TRH clip is suitable for fixing light weight, loadings into steel, composite decking, block work and concrete. This makes it the perfect fixing for a variety of common electrical fixing tasks including hanging light cable trays, wire systems, and security fixing for lighting with a small chain.
Because it is supplied as a separate fixing, the Spit TRH clip can be used with a pin selected as the most appropriate to the substrate. The new TRH offers a number of benefits to the end user:
- Two thread sizes in one version (M6-M8 & M8-M10) - Special shape for steel wire rope or small chains - Oblong hole for suspended ceiling hooks
- The TRH clip can be slid onto the Pulsa 700E standard pin guide, so fixing the clip becomes a handed operation, which is a far safer way to work!
The Spit TRH clip is sturdily constructed from 1.5mm thick steel giving it a high resistance to deformation. Electro zinc coating offers excellent corrosion protection for internal use.
The TRH clips are supplied in tubs of 100 clips. The tubs have a transparent cover for easy product identification and a colour-coded sticker to confirm the correct fitting for the application and are solid enough to stand up to day-to-day life on site.
