Testing installed optical fibre cabling - random number generation or verifiable verification technique? This is the question and the seminar answers it:

The seminar, entitled Testing installed optical fibre cabling is being held in London on 23 June 2005, and lasts half a day. The background to the seminar is explained on the front page of the attached brochure.

It is safe to say that there is a problem if a correctly measured installation can produce results varying by up to 2.0dB depending upon the test equipment used. This seminar will be of significant interest to those involved in specifying, undertaking or managing test results for installed optical fibre cabling.
