New compact, quality range of DIN rail terminals

The Elkay Electrical product offering continues to expand with the launch of a new range of DIN rail terminals and accessories, featuring a low profile, space saving design, facilitating quick installation.

Elkay has formed an exclusive agreement with Italian company Morsettitalia to represent them in the UK and parts of Europe.
Offering a complete selection, the Elkay range includes screw and screwless terminal blocks, multi-level terminals, fuse and disconnectors, and accessories as well as a complementary range of PCB terminal blocks. All are designed for use with standard symmetrical DIN rails, resulting in a more compact terminal than normal.
"We are delighted to offer these new, quality products which include newly introduced screwless terminals," explained Martyn Turner of Elkay Electrical. "Collectively, they afford extensive flexibility within the Elkay product range allowing the combination of enclosures, cable glands and the full possibility of standard or custom sub assemblies."
All of the products are approved by leading international testing organisations, including CSA, UL, VDE, IMQ, SEV and KEMA. Selected ranges are also suitable for use in hazardous areas, being certified 'Eex e' and having ATEX certification. The terminal blocks are made from self-extinguishing Nylon 6.6 and manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 9001: 2000.
Used extensively in industrial and commercial applications, such as electrical distribution boards, control panels, power centres, machining centres, lift controls etc., the products afford time saving on installations. A full range of terminal markers is also available.
The new DIN rail terminals are available direct to OEMs via Elkay and from its sister companies, Adaptaflex and Kopex, through the national network of electrical wholesalers.
