Besides demonstrating industrial prowess in all its facets, Hannover Fair also carries major economic and political clout - a fact underlined by the presence of scores of high-ranking officials and influential personalities who will join forces with top business leaders, decision makers and renowned specialists to make this fair an unparalleled world economic summit. The most prominent guest will be Russian President Vladimir Putin, who will join German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder in officially opening Hannover Fair 2005, and the German-Russian Business Symposium on the eve of the fair, which runs from 11 through 15 April and will feature some 6,000 exhibitors from 60 different nations.

Seamless supply chain coverage:

Building on the success of the 2004 event, Deutsche Messe AG has teamed up with its exhibitors to launch a concept for 2005 which underscores Hannover's claim to host the only show with complete coverage of the world market for industrial automation. This winning concept is also driven by the fact that Factory Automation and INTERKAMA+ will now both be annual mainstays of Hannover Fair.

Hannover Fair 2005 features eleven international flagship fairs under a single umbrella which together do full justice to every sector of industry and cover a total net area of 200,000m2. Hannover is, therefore, a major magnet for industrial buyers in search of solutions for automotive applications, telecommunications, and everything in between.
