Voltimum UK & Ireland, the British arm of the pan-European web portal for the electrical installation sector, announces the appointment of Paul Harwood as Marketing Manager. He takes over from Jeanette Perkins who has left to travel round the world.

Paul has been involved with marketing right through his career, following gaining a Business Studies Degree at Thames Valley University where he obtained a BAHons. Subsequently, he started his working career as Marketing Assistant at DynoRod, part of the Zockoll Group. This led to Paul taking up the position of Marketing Executive at Zockoll Group company Fingertip Marketing which specialises in looking after clients operating in the telecommunications sector. He then joined The Gensight Group, a project portfolio management company, as Marketing Executive. Most recently, Paul was Marketing Communications Executive at Pacific International, a recruitment company, but Paul has also freelanced for a variety of organisations.
Says Voltimum UK & Ireland Managing Director Margaret Fitzsimons: “Paul brings a great diversity of skills and experience in classical and Internet marketing to the Voltimum UK & Ireland team.” She also thanked Jeanette Perkins for her hard and successful work for Voltimum.
Paul Harwood comments: “I’m very excited at the prospect of working at Voltimum. There are many fantastic brands involved, and I’m looking forward very much in helping to make this unique project a great success.”
When Paul, aged 29, is not working for Voltimum, he plays rugby at a very high level at Wasps Rugby Club, and has also played for Bath and England U21’s. He is also a keen musician and currently owns two pianos (and says there is always room for one more) as well a large number of acoustic and electric guitars.
