ABB’s recently launched Housemaster moulded consumer units have been installed in a new holiday home development for senior citizens in West Wales. (27 Aug 02)

The first order for ABB’s Housemaster came from electrical contractor, Aztec Electrical who bought 28 6+6 way moulded consumer units, with residual current devices (RCD) fitted as standard, from electrical wholesalers, Manway.

The Housemaster has been designed in collaboration with professional electricians to offer maximum simplicity for mounting, cabling, wiring and maintenance.

Sean Lewis, contracts manager for Aztec Electrical said: “ABB has obviously put a lot of thought in to designing Housemaster. We chose this unit because design features, such as captive screws, unique sliding access door, and the unit’s compact dimensions offer many practical and time-saving benefits for our electricians, allowing them to install the units quickly and easily.”
