Key focus in recent weeks has been the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement. Most of the content was pre-announced so no real surprises to the industry which has been busy lobbying over recent months. Read more in this month's construction market activity.
Can you advise on the correct design for lighting running up a live Christmas tree, which will be permanent fixture? It is intended to use 12V lights, ducted back to a 240V supply, which currently has BS88 20A fuse protecting a 13A socket. I take it from the regulations that it will need RCD protection and a transformer within a waterproof enclosure, but can you advise on what exactly I would need to do to make it regulation compliant?
