Adaptaflex sponsored Tommy Hill is the 2011 British Superbike Champion. Tommy clinched the title by the smallest of margins after a dramatic last day's racing at Brands Hatch on October 9 2011. Adaptaflex, a world leader in electrical conduit systems, has been associated on a personal sponsorship level with Tommy for many years. The company’s distinctive red and white logo has been displayed on his leathers throughout the current season.
Tommy is a member of the Swan Yamaha team and fought off a fierce challenge from eventual Championship runner-up John Hopkins to win the title. He said: “I am gobsmacked to have won the title - it’s been a long hard season and I need to thank everyone for their support.”
Ann Timmons, Group Product Manager, Adaptaflex says: “Tommy is not only a worthy BSB champion, but has been a great role model for the sport. Adaptaflex has been delighted to be associated with him and his team. Tommy has given the Adaptaflex brand superb exposure during 2011.”
