Question: I'm interested in the development of OLED lighting for a number of possible applications, but I'm not sure they are suitable. Can you tell my what applications would be ideal for OLEDs?

Answer: OLEDs, with their unique advantages - which include ultra low profile, two-dimensional light source, transparency and being potentially flexible - are opening up many new applications.

These include light tiles, light partition walls, and transparent light sources that emit light only after dusk and act as windows during the day. OLEDs can also be integrated in kitchen and bathroom installations to create innovative lighting designs.
