This through-hole relay by Easby Electronics is suitable for telecommunications equipment applications as well as a wide range of other uses, such as medical, office and automotive equipment, hi-fi and set top boxes, and measurement and control equipment.

The Tyco Axicom-branded MT2 DIL telecommunications/signal relay, is a dual-in-line double-pole change over relay meeting the requirements of FCC Part 68 and ITU-T K20. It is offered with a choice of sensitivities with nominal coil power consumptions between 150mW and 550mW. The maximum switched continuous current is 2A at up to 220V DC or 250V AC, with a maximum switched power of 62.5VA or 60W.

The case size of the BT47W-style MT2 relay is 20.2mm long x 10mm wide x 11mm high. It can be used in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +85°C, with a rated mechanical life of 100 million switching operations. The contacts are gold-plated AgNi and cadmium free. The relay is rated to IP67 for board washing.
