PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Reporting to the Head of Lighting UK & Nordic Region
Develop plan and implement a business strategy to increase share of B2C lighting market To achieve the company business plan for the B2C segment, review individual account costs and implement plans to take out identified cost from this business. Review business plans and forecasts for all accounts, and produce a collective business plan. Set and meet qualitative and financial objectives for this Consumer business. FACTS & FIGURES
- Supervisory/ managerial responsibility - number of reports: This will depend on the business growth of B2C.
- Account Responsibilities will represent UK B2C channel sales
- Budget – Responsible for B2C sales budget and monthly forecasting of future business plans.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a business plan for the B2C channel in line with the company financial objectives for the fiscal year
- Provide a detail level of understanding of the B2C channel capability and reflect the Company’s opportunity within the business plan using the following criteria:
Key items to consider: Market size & understanding Size of customer in the market place • Split by brand / non brand • Split by Lamp / Fixture type • Number of Stores • How do they plan their sales by store? • Business level of importance to them • Business product line-up and their ability to sell view • Top level plan primarily based on the Value and also Volume • Cost of doing business with them • Details of what it costs and what that gives back • Planning by model – Volume and Value • Promotional plan by week /month • Summary of Business Plan A • What’s your plan B? • To allocate targets to customers in line with objectives in conjunction with the Head of Sales A truly exciting opportunity for an ambitious consumer sales professional wishing to join a global brand in a man management role.
