Prysmian Cables and Systems has launched a new brochure offering a concise introduction to the company’s range of FP cables and accessories. The brochure details Prysmian FP100, FP200 Gold, FP Plus, FP400, FP600S Fire Resistant Cables and components, all developed at the home of FP near Southampton.
The appropriate use for each cable is clearly set out with additional information, reporting whether each cable uses FP Firefix or the BICON cast iron cleat. The required British Standards are also clearly set out, verifying that Prysmian offer the highest quality products available.
The FP range brochure has a striking new look and features some of the high profile public buildings that have benefited from Prysmian Cables and Systems including the 02 Arena, Wimbledon Centre Court, Cardiff City FC Stadium and the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai.
Prysmian represents quality, reliability and durability and the new FP Range brochure provides a greater insight into the individual products within the range. For example, FP200 Gold and FP PLUS use Prysmian’s own Insudite insulation, a stronger more damage resistant material than the commonly available soft-silicone insulation.
FP Product Manager Simon Hopkins said: “All FP products are rigorously tested at our own Fire Test Lab so installers and specifiers can rest assured that they will meet or exceed British Standard requirements.
