The new Vertex luminaire from Cooper Lighting and Safety, a business unit of Cooper Safety, features a sleek, low-profile design combined with the latest T5 lamp and gear technology, which enables it to deliver the high levels of energy efficiency required for contemporary lighting schemes.
Available in single- and twin-lamp versions in 600, 1200 and 1500mm sizes, the new luminaire is supplied with either louvred or microprism optics and a choice of T5 HE or HO lamps, providing outputs ranging from 14W to 54W.
It is a versatile product that offers a number of different configurations to suit the needs of various applications. The luminaire can be surface mounted directly to a ceiling or suspended via easily adjusted drop wires. Suspended versions can be installed as individual luminaires or in continuous runs and have an element of upward light to aid compliance with LG7 requirements. For quick and easy installation, the continuous luminaires feature a simple locking link mechanism, together with a plug-and-socket feature that connects the wiring between sections. Standard infill sections are offered in five lengths from 300 to 1500mm.
Integrated emergency lighting versions are available with or without automatic testing facilities, and other options include DSI or DALI digital dimming capability for use with lighting control systems.
Finished in either RAL 9016 white or RAL 9006 silver, Vertex is manufactured to the highest quality standards, with extruded aluminium sides and central spine, a steel gear tray and backplate, and injection-moulded plastic end caps.
